Fortitude Consulting is excited to share news on local projects!
Check out the Innovative Log Home Project video.
The Innovative Log Home project involved three Yukon First Nations (Champagne and Aishihik First Nations, White River First Nation and Carcross/Tagish First Nation) that resulted in four log homes built in 2021 and 2022. Two more log homes were built in the summer of 2023. These homes are small, portable, energy efficient, use locally sourced materials, can contribute to local employment and serve to address the housing shortage in northern communities.
Check out this video for some highlights of the Kluane First Nation Forest Resources Management Plan and forestry workshops (cabin building, and portable sawmilling) (2019 – 2020).
